I should mention the guest is set to 1 CPU, 2048 RAM and 128 VRam. When I tried to shutdown the Live CD it just gave me a black screen. When it finished I just kept playing in the Live CD. Instead of just directly installing Mint I ran the Live CD and installed it from the desktop. There are some issues with 'buntu based installers.

I stopped trying Cinnamon on my slightly older iMac but the graphics card in my new iMac works fine. Anyway I removed the 4.2.16 GA's and installed the 4.3.10 GAs and Cinnamon is behaving nicely. I just installed LM 16 with Cinnamon in VB 4.3.10 and the guest additions seemed to work okay with the exception of Auto-Mounting shared folders (I know, I know). Perry, I believe all current versions of Mint come with 4.2.16 guest additions pre-installed.
